Accountant

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting with 3 to 5 years of accounts payable experience
• Knowledge of Fund-EZ accounting software is required
• Strong computer skills
• Basic knowledge or experience in a non-profit accounting setting, a plus
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

 

Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices/receipts and check requests for accuracy and authorization, and resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Ensure timely payments and respond to vendors inquiries
• Allocating of income from various funding streams
• Enter and post all journal entries that is related to accounts payable
• Maintain vendor files, finance office records in an orderly and organized manner
• Provide clerical support for daily accounting functions

 

Compensation: Low to mid 40’s

 

Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm
