Full Time Assistant Teacher - Day Care

Reports to: Education Director

Qualifications:

• AA/ BA in Early Childhood and a minimum of one year teaching experience with children ages 2-5 years old
• An ability to work positively and patiently with children, parents and staff

Responsibilites:

• Working within the framework of the sponsoring agency of the child care center and carrying out its functions, policies, and procedures
• Assist in the planning and execution of a program to provide child care for children which takes into account the educational, social, developmental and health needs of the group, as well as the individual child
• Sharing in the use and writing of records, such as are required and necessary for the development of the program and for work with the individual child, the group and any student may be assigned

Salary: Mid 20's
