Since 1965, Hamilton-Madison House has been the leading provider of behavioral health services for New York City’s Asian community. Hamilton-Madison House provides culturally and linguistically sensitive individual and group counseling for Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Southeast Asian clients, continuing day services, substance abuse and recovery services, supported housing and a daily psychosocial club.
We serve over 1000 children and adults annually.
We offer a comprehensive array of psychological services and language-specific clinics at four locations on an outpatient basis. From assessment and evaluation to treatment and case management, individuals, couples and families working through emotional and behavioral issues find expert and culturally appropriate assistance. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Medicaid, Medicare and other third-party payments are accepted. Winning accolades beyond our neighborhood, our treatment centers have become respected field placement and learning sites for graduate students in psychology and social work.
