2003 In March, the Chinatown Resource Center, funded by the Robin Hood Foundation and the New York Times Foundation, opened to meet the long-term psychological, economic and social needs of the Two Bridges/Chinatown residents, stemming from the September 11th tragedy.

2003 24th Annual Chinatown Banquet was held on Friday, April 11. The honorees were C. Virginia Fields, Borough Manhattan President and Cindy Hsu, CBS 2 Anchor.

2003 Dr. Foo chu a board member passes away and leaves Hamilton-Madison House a sizable sum of money in his will. 

2003 In June, the Social Adult Day Care program opened to meet the needs of Chinese-speaking frail and elderly clients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and other related disorders.

2003 The Asian Psychosocial Clubhouse/Sunrise Club opened in September to provide an environment where Asians struggling with mental illness can find the support and opportunities to learn life skills and vocational competencies to be self-sufficient in society. This clubhouse is named after Dr. Foo Chu.

2003 Hamilton-Madison House celebrates Madison House's Jewish ancestry at the annual heritage gala on December 8, 2003. The annual heritage gala was held at the Ritz Carlton in Lower Manhattan.
